Brian Selznick at Symphony Space: Previews his new novel ‘Wonderstruck’

On Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 6:00 p.m., Symphony Space brings Brian Selznick, the Caldecott Award-winning author of The Invention of Hugo Cabret, to the Thalia Kids’ Book Club to give young people an insider's view of his new book, Wonderstruck. The actress Emily Mortimer    (starring in Martin Scorcese's Hugo: The Movie feature film this fall) will read an excerpt from Wonderstuck, and author Matthew Cody  (Powerless and The Dead Gentleman) will lead the interview and discussion with the author.

Selznick’s appearance at Symphony Space is part of its acclaimed series, Thalia Kids' Book Club, an innovative book program for avid readers ages 9 - 12, which includes discussions between children's book authors and their fans.
