As always, you are the single best judge for determining your child’s choice of entertainment.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING RELEASES ON DVD

Creative documentary ‘Imagine it!’ inspires kids to use creativity with science

Apple Inc.’s late Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs encouraged people to think differently. Jobs believed that “out of curiosity comes everything.”

On October 25, 2011 a 52 minute documentary IMAGINE IT!, distributed by Cinema Libre Studio, will do the same to inspire curiosity and ask young people to think “outside the box” and to use their imagination to change the world through technology and science using their creativity.

Iliza Shlesinger, winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, stars as the host of this documentary which features the leading men and women in science and technology including: Sally Ride (NASA Astronaut and first woman on the moon), Charles Vest (Former President of MIT, current President of the National Academy of Engineering), the Co-Founders of the Blue Man Group, Chris Wink, Phil Stanton, Matt Goldman, and many more.

IMAGINE IT poses the question: What if you imagined a better world, then engaged in making it happen? The film encourages children to pursue an education in the field of math and science and thus, to create the changes they would like to see and to build a world that they would want to live in.

Educators profess with confidence that the best way to predict the future is to invent it and considering that half of the world’s population is under the age of 25 (that’s 3 billion people) there is considerable potential for a new future of innovators. As one of the greatest creative minds Walt Disney said, “All of our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”

Director Rudy Poe co-founded the Imagine It! Project with Richard Tavener. The non-profit company’s mission is to promote the power of imagination and the importance of living a creative life. His mantra is “Experience for today. Vision for tomorrow.”

SYNOPSIS:
